Woops
Sat 5 April 2014, 22:12
I lost the cellphone I was using for blogging… So this space has become much more quiet, and is likely to stay so until the end of the trip in seven days.
I came back to Kyoto on Friday after traveling around Mt Fuji, and am moving to Osaka tomorrow Sunday. I’ll stay there until April 10th, when I’ll fly back to Seoul. Finally, I’ll fly back to Berlin on April 12th. Talk to you all when I’m back home :-)

Sun 30 March 2014, 22:45
Insert your money, select your food and drinks, get your change back, and give the receipt to the waiter. Luckily I could see how the person before me did it
Typical Tokyo metro scene
Sun 30 March 2014, 22:18
I suspect they inject some sleeping gas in the metro wagons… Or else Japanese people have a great capacity at sleeping in transports.
Note, they’re not all surgeons, it’s just that nobody covers his mouth when coughing here, hence the masks (my immune system is probably over-trained by now).
Giant Gundam robot
Sun 30 March 2014, 21:24
In front of the Divercity mall in Tokyo.
Gundam was (is?) a popular series here.

Sensoji temple and Skytree building
Fri 28 March 2014, 16:31
Although the temple density in Tokyo is not as high as in Kyoto, there are still quite many if them.

Fri 28 March 2014, 15:55

Outside the Hakata station, Fukuoka
Tue 18 March 2014, 19:01
Fukuoka is a fairly nice city so far, except maybe for the swarms of bike riding at full speed on the sidewalks… The street is apparently too dangerous, and they don’t have bike lanes either.
